Appearance and usability
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone resembles its predecessor Galaxy S20 FE, being much smaller than the current Galaxy S21 lineup.
Here, the side frame is more pronounced, not flat, but still much wider, and there is a protrusion of the same shape where the camera lenses are located.

The back is also flatter, making the device easier to hold than its predecessor, although there were no significant issues with the Galaxy S20 FE in this regard.

In hand, it is not very large by today's standards and is quite lightweight, fitting comfortably. All surfaces — both the side frame and the back panel — are matte, without lacquer or gloss.
They do not slip in the fingers, and almost no fingerprints remain, making the coating practical.

The camera block is not embedded in a sharply protruding rectangle, as in the Galaxy S20 FE; its platform smoothly merges with the entire back panel and does not differ in color.
The cameras slightly protrude, but overall the smartphone lies stably on the table.

The buttons are even larger than those on the Galaxy S20 FE. They are easy to locate by touch, have a not very long travel, but provide clear feedback.

The front camera is installed in a round cutout in the screen matrix. There is no LED notification indicator.
The fingerprint scanner is embedded under the screen. The optical sensor works quickly and accurately.
The face recognition function does not work as quickly, but there are no significant complaints about it.

Only two Nano-SIM cards can be installed in the slot on the bottom edge; there is no place for a microSD memory card. Hot swapping of cards is supported.

On the bottom edge, besides the card slot, there are a speaker, a microphone, and a USB Type-C port. There is nothing on the top edge. The 3.5mm audio output for headphones is absent.

When purchasing the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, you can choose from several colors: green (moss), purple (lilac), black, and white.
The body has IP68 protection against water and dust (it can withstand immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes).

Display
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone is equipped with a Super AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.41 inches and a resolution of 1080×2400, covered with flat glass without curved edges, Corning Gorilla Victus. The physical dimensions of the screen are 68x142 mm, the aspect ratio is 20:9, and the pixel density is 411 ppi. The width of the bezel around the screen is 2.5 mm on the sides, 3 mm on the top, and 4 mm on the bottom. The screen supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
